Around 200 people protested today at the Virginia State Capitol against Dominion's plan to dump treated coal ash wasterwater in the James River. The rally started at the Bell Tower and then protestors proceeded to march through the streets of downtown. Protestors ended up back at the Capitol where the occupied the steps. Police waited about an hour before demanding protestors leave the steps. Eight people stayed and were arrested.
