Crossroads Art Center celebrates 12 years as one of the largest galleries and most active supporters of all things art in the mid-Atlantic region. To commemorate the occasion, they’re doing what they always do — overwhelm people with an onslaught of creativity. A massive open house and artist reception is Friday, March 21, featuring hundreds of visual creations by the Nimrod Hall Artists, James River Art League Artists, Duane Cregger, Elisabeth Flynn-Chapman and countless others to consider throughout the 25,000-square-foot facility. Along with all the art, there will be music from Andy Vaughan and The Driveline and the Quiet Step Ensemble, magic shows courtesy of the Richmond Magic Club and the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and plenty of food to stuff in your face provided by RVA Street Foodies. The family friendly festivities commence at 6 p.m. Admission is free. crossroadsartcenter.com.
