In our interview with the outgoing Virginia Historical Society president and CEO (“We Love You, Charlie Bryan,” Arts & Culture, May 23), we should have said Bryan had been with the VHS since 1988 and will retire in December 2008.
We inadvertently printed two different first names of the writer who goes by “Mad Dog” (“When Bad Food Goes Good,” Back Page, May 16). He’s Barry Gottlieb.
In a May 9 Street Talk (“Bullying Case Settled, Spurs New Law”), we reported that Bill Henck pursued a criminal perjury charge against Short Pump Elementary School teacher Kerry Vavra. The school’s principal, Ron Odom, was indicted on perjury charges, but not Vavra, and a judge later dismissed the charges.
