Ghostprint Gallery kicks off another month with “Chroma Shift,” a collection of works by artists Leslie Herman and Neal Iwan. Graduates of Virginia Commonwealth University’s communication arts program and of the Illustration Academy, Iwan and Herman have had works featured in various regional magazines and won a measure of critical acclaim. Herman landed a gold medal in last year’s Society of Illustrators annual exhibition. Iwan’s recent paintings feature animals portrayed in an impressionistic style, including “Caught,” pictured, and Herman’s works include subjects featured on band posters and intimate and sophisticated portraits. “Chroma Shift” opens Thursday, Feb. 2, at Ghostprint Gallery with an artists’ preview reception from 6-8 p.m. It runs through Feb. 25. 344-1557.
