Fans of downtown’s Cafe Ole can get their taco and burrito fix in Carytown starting Friday, when owner Betsy Thomas opens her offshoot, Carytown Cafe Ole, in the former Ben & Jerry’s spot at 2901 W. Cary.
They’ll have to wait a few weeks to order fish tacos, but the rest of the Ole menu will be available for take-out or dine-in in the revamped space, which is still being tweaked with more changes, and later hours, still to come.
Hours starting Black Friday, will be Tuesdays through Sundays, 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. See Style Weekly for more details.
