Buckwheat Zydeco at Capital Ale House

Unless you're from Louisiana, there aren't that many people that immediately associate rowdy party music with the sound of a zydeco accordion. Fortunately, Stanley “Buckwheat” Dural has spent the past three decades bringing his own style of Creole exuberance to the uninitiated masses. Mixing blues and early rock 'n' roll, the raucous bandleader is once again on the road, this time supporting, “Jackpot!” his first studio disc in more than 10 years. You can feel the good vibes when Buckwheat Zydeco plays the downtown Capital Ale House on Saturday, March 7, at 8 p.m. $20. 780-2537.
