Put on your sport coat and get ready for some meat. Buckhead’s has been around for more than 20 years, and its aged Black Angus cuts are synonymous with celebration in this town. The warm wood and white tablecloths demand a minimum of three courses, but you might want to stop by the bar one evening and, while snacking on a few escargot, choose from one of the 700 different bottles of wine that gave Buckhead’s the 2014 Wine Spectator’s award for excellence. Owner Mark Herndon, former chef at the Executive Mansion in the early 2000s, keeps the steakhouse’s classics on point while infusing the menu with the 21st century.
