Secco moved from its longtime spot in Carytown to the former location of Buddy’s at Robinson Street and Stuart Avenue — but its customers didn’t mind. It’s not only the well-curated wine list, but also the staff’s solid education that makes Secco the first stop for wine lovers. The creative European-influenced menu is excellent, but if you’re a novice drinking a flight of wine and you want to know exactly what you’re getting into, wave that redhead over to your table — that would be owner Julia Battaglini, formerly of River City Cellars — and place yourself in her capable hands.
