For more than 60 years, Pediatric Associates of Richmond has served generations of Richmond families. And they know the kids they help are pretty cool. “I think that the great thing about being a pediatrician is acting like a kid all day,” says one of the practice’s physicians, Mark Grabill. “[Kids] are generally happy and playful and resilient, and they bounce back quickly.” To help nursing mothers, the center recently added lactation specialists. RVA Pediatrics, opened in 1961, understands that kids get sick on holidays and weekends and has the hours to accommodate. Henrico Pediatrics also has walk-in sick appointments to help parents in a bind.
