The Virginia Women’s Center is known for caring for women with high-risk pregnancies, and for the bedside manner to sympathetically guide them through the experience. The practice offers comprehensive health care for women at its seven locations. Mammography screening for breast cancer survivors and patients with breast implants was recently added to the office’s range of services. Its physicians also conduct ongoing studies on treatments for conditions such as incontinence and endometriosis. Dr. Alice Hirata is known as an advocate for low intervention births and for her work with the local nonprofit Midwives for Haiti. Dr. Vienne Murray in the West End is known her caring and conscientious approach to patient care.
