Barksdale / Theater IV
Since 2001, when Theatre IV took over management of the struggling Barksdale Theatre, the combined company has worked toward providing something for everybody. Now, with traditional fare at Hanover Tavern, edgier offerings at Willow Lawn, occasional big-budget musicals downtown at the Empire and a slate of traveling kids’ shows, it’s clearly succeeded. Break a leg, indeed.
