Richmond’s oldest bridal boutique offers a large showroom known for its wide selection of everything tulle, silk and lace and its attentive staff, clad in black and pink. Store manager Sharon Thompson — whose own dreams came true when she bought her dress from the boutique in 1974 — brings 20 years of experience as a freelance wedding planner to the business. Urban Set Bride is a small boutique that entertains one bridal group at a time, and David’s Bridal is a mainstay for wide selection.
