While wandering around the grounds of the State Capitol, I noticed the bright red tulips with Old City Hall in the backdrop. I love the contrast between the deep red of the flowers and the gray of the stone.
By shooting low, I eliminated any distraction in the foreground. Of course, a bright blue sky never hurts when trying to make a landscape photo pop.
