Born in Syria and based in Los Angeles, folk singer Azniv Korkejian has wowed critics and fans alike with two gorgeous albums, drawing comparisons to people as varied as Leonard Cohen, Karen Dalton and Minnie Riperton. And she has a Richmond connection, having worked with the Spacebomb folks, who fleshed out her reflective, wandering tunes that would feel right at home in the Laurel Canyon of the mid-1970s. She’ll be joined by guitarist and studio whiz Gus Seyffert, known for his work with Beck, the Black Keys and Roger Waters. 8 p.m. $15. capitalalehouse.com.
