Nice article on Virginia wineries (“Driving Sideways,” Home Style, Oct. 4), but you did not do justice to Barboursville. You had lots of pictures but very little text.
In Palladio it has an exceptional restaurant and its Cabernet Franc, Octagon, Barbera, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo and Pinot Grigio are very, very nice wines. Its Brut is also a very nice sparkling wine which compares very favorably with comparably priced sparkling wines.
