Unlike some of the other artists in The Richmond Jazz Society’s Guest Educators Concert Series, Aziza has actually worked as an educator, giving lessons to a young lady named Alicia J. Augello-Cook, who changed her last name to Keys and has done pretty well for herself. New York native Aziza has also worked with Ahmad Jamal, Natalie Cole and Ray Bryant.
