Seven years ago we outgrew our brightly colored building on West Main Street, packing our bags for the emerging Scott’s Addition neighborhood near Boulevard and Broad Street. We’ve seen old warehouses turned into condos, an architecture firm constructing a grand office, a long-awaited cinema break ground — and even a new gentlemen’s club take up residence (business is booming).
This week we begin a new chapter at home in downtown Richmond. Thanks to you and your support, Style Weekly and its family of publications continues to grow. We’ve moved to the former VCU AdCenter, in the Exchange Place at the corner of 13th and Main streets.
Here, we’re straddling Shockoe Bottom, Shockoe Slip and the Financial District, and we’re just a few blocks from the State Capitol and City Hall. It’s thrilling to be part of Richmond’s bustling downtown, and we look forward to continued growth in this new location. Thanks for helping us get here, and we hope you’ll stop by to visit.
