The Score

+4 Richmond wins a $24.9 million grant for a new high-speed bus line. But keep in mind, when it comes to Richmond, speed is relative.

-1 Fans of the Foo Fighters who didn't pony up to make the concert happen scramble to track down last-minute tickets. We even spotted Dave Grohl on Broad holding up a "Will Work for Ticket" sign.

+2 The Richmond Symphony Designer House, known as Hampton Manor, opens its doors to showcase a 5,300-square-foot house in Hallsley featuring the work of 24 local interior and landscape designers. Even the mortgage is color-coordinated.

+1 The much-anticipated Richmond outpost of Washington's Graffiato, from the former "Top Chef" contestant Mike Isabella, opens in the former Popkin Tavern on West Broad. The guy's getting more press than the Apple Watch.

+5 The man behind Uppy's convenience stores and Uptown Alley says he's working with a Chinese businessman to build a $160 million hotel and indoor water park in Chesterfield. Gas, bowling and water slides —Chesterfield has found its king.
