Grading RVA: McDonnell apologizes, McAuliffe ascends, "Mob Wives of Richmond" + more.

+1 In his outgoing address, Gov. Bob McDonnell apologizes for the gift-giving scandal, saying he followed law but was "deeply sorry for the problems and pain I've caused for you." Fortunately, he adds, you can fight the pain by heading to your nearest drugstore to buy a bottle of Star Scientific's Anatabloc™.

+2 Bill and Hillary Clinton roll into Richmond for the inaugural festivities of their friend, Gov. Terry McAuliffe. On a completely unrelated note, the cheerleading squad for the VCU Rams is temporarily sequestered.

+4 The inaugural events hit a party crescendo at the Siegel Center, where a black-tie ball gets McAuliffe on the dance floor. After watching his attempts to "raise the roof," we demand a recount.

+5 The Richmond Public Schools kick off the year under new leadership, with Superintendent Dana T. Bedden taking the reins and Donald L. Coleman being elected as School Board chairman. But they've already confirmed that snow days will be called as often and early as possible.

-1 A mysterious Facebook page emerges called the "Mob Wives of Richmond," saying its members are "married queens" who know how to party, make it rain and hold the best house parties in town. Let's just hope a turf war doesn't break out with "The Real Babymamas of Richmond."
