This Week: Camping in "Shakaville", Lady Luck retires, big RVA music + more.

+6 Virginia Commonwealth University fans start camping out for tickets in an area dubbed "Shakaville" two days before the Rams play — and crush — the Butler Bulldogs, who took them out in the 2011 NCAA Final Four. Revenge is a dish best served cold, after shivering in tents on the sidewalk for days.

-3 Looking back at his recent ouster as Richmond police chief, Bryan Norwood tells CBS-6 that he had just a few conversations with the mayor, and remains mystified by why he was let go. This calls for some detective work.

-1 The Virginia Lottery announces the retirement of Lady Luck, a 24-year-long recurring character played by Melanie McQueen. We'd wish her luck in her retirement but that's just redundant.

-5 Richmonders head into the weekend deluged with dire warnings of pandemonium ahead, with politicians failing to reach a resolution that would avoid the spending cuts of sequester from taking effect. On the bright side, budget cuts force Congress to cancel its Harlem Shake video shoot. (Though Eric Cantor refused to take off the banana suit.)

+5 Big music announcements strike in the same week: Bob Dylan and Barry Manilow will play the Richmond Coliseum in April. Our hopes of an "All Along the Copacabana" mash-up collaboration just got a little closer to reality.
