Meet the Class of 2017 — 40 people younger than 40 years old who blow far past the description of movers and shakers. One thing you will learn about Richmond when you meet these dynamic folks is that this is a region full of people who care deeply about the place they live and the people around them.
Despite all of the professional accolades that decorate the résumés of these Richmonders, perhaps what stands out most is the big-heartedness of these people who go the extra mile for others.
These are the people we look for every year to fill the new class of Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40. They are the voices to which Richmond should listen more carefully. They’re paying attention to the changes truly needed in the community. And we hope you’re paying attention to them. — Jack Cooksey
