10 Delicious Recipes to Kickstart Your Super Bowl Party

Even if you don’t like football, you’ve got to like the food that comes out of an amped-up Super Bowl party kitchen. Wings, nachos, chili, chips, dip — it’s our excuse to eat all the bar food we want, guilt-free. I’ve taken a look at some of my favorite cooking sites around the Web and found a few recipes that ought to keep everyone happy — all the die-hard fans and those of us just in it for the halftime show and commercials.

All-you-can-eat wings from Serious Eats.

Real nachos from my friend Lisa Fain.

A cheese dip with something extra from Food & Wine.

French onion dip with caramelized onions from the Kitchn.

Potato skin-bacon fat chips from the Washington Post.

Beer-battered mac ‘n’ cheese bites from the Los Angeles Times.

Friend Jennifer Steinhauer’s recipe for just good chili at Food52.

Healthy-ish blue cheese and bacon lettuce boats from Bon Appetit.

Parmesan-rosemary popcorn from PBS Food. (I’m getting fancy.)

And finally, Katherine Hepburn’s brownie recipe from the New York Times. I don’t know if she liked football, but she knew how to make a killer treat.
