Since winning a Grammy Award for best new artist in 2009, Zac Brown Band has stayed busy and remained a force in the country music scene. The Southern rock act’s second and latest album, “You Get What You Give,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, allowing the band to receive more than 50 Grammy, American Country, Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and Country Music Television award nominations. The last time the group played Richmond — for Friday Cheers in 2009 — Brown’s Island reached its capacity, a feat not easily accomplished by many artists. Zac Brown Band performs at the Richmond Coliseum on Sunday, March 25, at 7 p.m. $42-$64. 780-4970.
