Yip-Yip at the Triple

Florida-based duo Yip-Yip feels as though it's arrived on Earth from Mars. With an obvious fascination with electronic music, Yip-Yip's Brian Esser and Jason Temple deck themselves out in fully checkered jumpsuits, all the while holding keyboard and saxophone in hand. The release of the duo's 2008 album, “Two Kings of the Same Kingdom,” reflects an easy way with the marvels of technology, mixing together earthly toned instruments with futuristic electronica. Voted by Orlando Weekly readers as “Best Electronic Act” from 2004—2006, the band takes its meta-galactic performance to the Triple on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 10 p.m. 359-7777. — Alexander Chang
