Will Work for Sex

Support an entertainment industry that never goes on strike. The Sex Workers' Art Show is back with a cabaret so titillating that the brass at VCU canceled the exhibition. But it'll take more than a few suits to stop this show, where all of your ideas about prostitutes, transvestites, phone-sex operators and porn stars will be transformed. Enjoy burlesque, music, visual art and spoken word. Laugh at "the world famous BOB," the comic queen of cleavage, ogle porn star Lorelei Lee and bow before dominatrix Keva I. Lee (pictured) as Annie Oakley, ringmaster, commands the show at The Gay Community Center, 1407 Sherwood Ave., Thursday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10. 353-8890. www.sexworkersartshow.com.
