Rumor has it that you can thank My Bloody Valentine for Wilco's upcoming show in Richmond. As it turns out the iconic shoe gazers were so impressed by the National's tech-specific accommodations — it was the band's only mid-Atlantic stop in 2009 — members started spreading the good word Richmond had a stage worth checking out. Jeff Tweedy apparently took kindly to the suggestion, making a visit in the middle of his band's latest tour. Responsible for “Yankee Hotel Foxtrot,” one of the best albums released in 10 years, Tweedy and Co. sold out this performance in less than an hour. For those still hoping to get into the show, start searching for scalpers and Craigslist sellers and name your price. Wilco performs at the National on Monday, March 29, at 7
