Can you spot Mayor Doug Wilder in this crowd? Five thousand Richmonders of all hues came to witness history last week with the unveiling of Richmond's slavery reconciliation statue. But Wilder, the grandson of slaves who became the nation's first black governor, skipped out. One attendee, Richmonder Joan Redd, who traces her family to West Africa, had little patience for Wilder's no-show performance: "Nobody cares. Nobody'll miss him." S
