There's no group that the end of summer bums out more than hyperactive elementary schoolers. Exempt from the obligatory pressure to get a summer job like their teenage counterparts, June through August is a solstice season of outdoor activity and do-nothing freedom at home. Looking to soften the blow of yet another school year, Gallery5 presents “Where It's At,” a family friendly back-to-school dance party led by nationally renowned children's entertainer, Jonny Cecka, aka DJ Soul Racketeer. Spinning plenty of modern and classic pop tunes as well as his own hip-hop mash-ups of knick-knack paddywack standards, Cecka is scheduled to keep kids dancing Friday, Sept. 17, at 6 p.m. $1. Children must be accompanied by adults and all adults must be accompanied by children.
