Where Everybody Knows Your Ectoplasm

Everyone's got a favorite bar, that place where you're able to unwind with some friends, throw a few back and hit on unsuspecting strangers with a loyal wingman. As it turns out, some people love their beloved watering holes so much, they'd rather forgo the whole heaven thing and spend the rest of their eternal afterlife ordering what's on tap. Beginning Wednesday, June 24, Haunts of Richmond presents its new monthly Spirits and Spirits Haunted Pub Crawl, a special walking and drinking tour of the city's most ghost-friendly bars. Featuring accounts of hauntings at SinAc Irish Pub, Rosie Connolly's, and Julep's New Southern Cuisine, the event starts at Richbrau Brewing Company at 7 p.m. While drinking is not required, you must be older than 21, even if you are dead. Tickets are $13. Call 343-3700 or visit www.hauntsofrichmond.com.
