Groceries: Can our city handle any more grocery stores? Hard on the heels of the announcement that Wegmans will open in Midlothian on May 22 and finish its Short Pump store on Aug. 7, Publix, a Southern grocery chain, leased a location in an upcoming development in Glen Allen to open in 2018.

Opening: Rapp Session, sibling and next-door neighbor of Rappahannock -- whatever happened to that idea? Owners Ryan and Travis Croxton plan to open the oyster bar at 318 E.
