VCU Dance lets the students make their own moves with "VCU Dance NOW," new works by the students under the direction of guest artist Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Feb. 22-24 at 8 p.m. at Grace Street Theater. A piece driven by the music of Morocco and African-American history, "Chalabati: Blessings of the Heart" is one of the main events, complemented by "Transcending Chronology" that explores such simple things as theoretical physics and string theory through dance. Which is a long way from tap. Tickets are $5-$15. 828-2020. S
