Track 15 - Sundials

"Neighborhood Well"

Written originally for guitarist and vocalist Harris Mendell's solo project, "Neighborhood Well" showcases Sundials' journey back to the early-'90s heyday of do-it-yourself indie punk. They name check bands such as Hüsker Dü and the Lemonheads, but don't let those poppy melodies fool you. This band always punches in with peppy punk exuberance, even while its members sing about their insecurities. Sundials' first full-length, "Never Settle," has garnered high praise from the punk community, and the band is sure to be embraced by fans overseas when it tours the UK in July.
