Track 10 - Ohbliv

Drop any assumptions you have about hip-hop music and pay attention to progressive beat-maker Ohbliv. A crew member of Just Plain Sounds and Chocolate Milk Collective and frequent collaborator, Ohbliv produces abstract instrumental tracks emblazoned with R&B grooves and the crackle and echo of '60s psychedelia. His Tumblr page is stocked with pop culture images from the last 40 years, but reading books about metaphysics and alternative theories likely were the biggest influence for his latest EP, "Monoatomic." "Keepthefaith" is a more straightforward track, built upon the chopped vocals of soul songstress Faith Evans.
