Tommy 2 Fingers and The Why Nots is made up of former members of Richmond bands Lilly Liver and Bird Brain, who go by the names Joey Lasagna, Johnny Bactine and Danny Crucial. Now that you know this is a solemn group of musicians, you'll be able to appreciate the subtle irony of songs like "Kelly Went Gay," "Lapdance in Paradise" and "Bourbon, Coke and Weed." Their inspirations include The Clash and the Ramones, without assuming their iconic poses or styles. This group is about rocking hard and not much else. They join The Hold Up, Monster a Go-Go and The Fiendz Saturday, Feb. 9, at 10 p.m. at Alley Katz. $7. 643-2816.
