Hollywood has arrived in Richmond. Here are some reports from readers:

Steven Spielberg at Siné on Thursday, Oct. 6. “He sang ‘Everybody Hurts’ by R.E.M. for karaoke,” our star spotter reports. “OK, that last part wasn’t true.”

Daniel Day-Lewis at Libby Hill Park, relaxing on a bench and reading.

John Hawkes at the Starbucks in the James Center on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Bonus: Two costumed Union soldiers were walking past the Library of Virginia the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 7. “Ooh, are you in the movie?” we asked. No, they said; they were attending the national convention of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History. Only in Richmond, folks.

Plus: What Hollywood star do you most want to spot in Richmond? Take the poll on the Style Weekly Facebook Page. (And while you're there, give us a "like.")

See a star? Have some inside info? Do the very Richmond thing: Gawk from a polite distance and then send your tip to lincoln@styleweekly.com. And follow on Twitter @StarGawkingRVA.
