Meat won’t be around Bryan Park this weekend when the Richmond Vegetarian Festival takes over. The all-day event features vegetarian foods from vendors, including Rooster Cart, India K’Raja, Fresca on Addison and Nile with entertainment, crafts, local businesses, cooking demonstrations, speakers and children’s activities. The day also will feature live music from Thompson and Blake, Rattlemouth, Miramar, Hotel X and Moossa. The Richmond Vegetarian Festival takes place Saturday, June 23, from noon to 6 p.m. at the azalea gardens at Bryan Park. Free. veggiefest.org.
