Armed with nothing more than a skuzzy blues guitar sound and a belting drums, it's easy to understand why female duo Maya Miller and Becky Black — an appropriately awesome name— have their Pack A.D. moniker mentioned with the likes of the White Stripes or the Black Keys. With a Janis Joplin growl and plenty of gut-punching riffs, this group's raw garage squalls keep its messiness to a passionate focus. Performing tracks off its new album, “We Kill Computers,” the Pack A.D. performs at the Triple on Friday, March 26, at 10 p.m.
