The Brooklyn-based six-piece the Loom has the potential to follow in the footsteps of some serious-name indie acts. Led by frontman John Fanning's depth-dwelling vocals, comparable to the National's Matt Berninger, this ensemble incorporates kitchen-sink-filling instrumentation such as trumpet, French horn, banjo, accordion and ukulele into its rhythmic smattering of chamber-pop tunes. On the road behind its full-length debut, “Teeth,” the Loom is scheduled to perform at the Camel on Monday, Nov. 8.
