Back in the ’80s, everybody was working for the weekend and ready to party every day. The Legwarmers, sometimes called the Ultimate ’80s Tribute Band, bring back the decade we all love (or love to hate) for its retro styles, costumes and outrageous hairstyles. The band has made multiple appearances in Richmond and always packs the house, belting out classics such as “Take on Me,” “Video Killed the Radio Star,” “Karma Chameleon” and others. Prepare to “Rock the Casbah” when the Legwarmers perform at the National on Friday, Aug. 10, at 8 p.m. $15. thenationalva.com
