Founded in 2010, hard-rock group the Killing Daylights has been working tirelessly around Richmond for the past few years, playing regular gigs at Sharky’s in Innsbrook and Babe’s of Carytown and hitting events like the Watermelon Festival, the Party Zone for NASCAR races and most recently the Carytown Craft Beer Festival. The Killing Daylights has made a name for itself through its high-energy performances, not to mention a wide repertoire of rock covers. Lately it’s been busy recording its demo at Darth Fader Studios. The Killing Daylights perform at the Republic on Friday, April 19, at 9 p.m. Free. therepublicrva.com.
