Husband-and-wife folk duo Laura Wortman and Kagey Parrish, also known as the Honey Dewdrops, perform fresh, original songs full of harmonies and the sounds from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Their love of folk music brought the couple together and they’ve since taken to the road, sharing songs of folk and old country life. After an appearance and first-place win on a talent show during NPR’s “A Prairie Home Companion,” the Dewdrops released two albums, “If the Sun Will Shine” and “These Old Roots,” both of which were well received and lodged in top positions on the folk charts. The Honey Dewdrops perform at Ashland Coffee and Tea on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 8 p.m. $13-$18. 798-1702.
