He teamed with Stuckey for years under the name Dave & Deke (fans actually wept at the duo's final concert at a small club on Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood in 1996). His custom double-neck Mosrite guitar slung over his shoulders, Dickerson moved on to lead his own band, the Ecco-fonics, through three studio albums and half a decade's worth of exhilarating live performances. Dickerson performs at Poe's Pub Wednesday (Nov. 13). — wayne
