The Green Boys at Ashland Coffee and Tea

Friday, Oct. 25. 8 p.m

The voices of brothers Ryan and Seth Green have that special harmonic bond that only comes through blood. When they sing together as the Green Boys, it’s as one voice instead of two. Their group is like that too. There’s a symbiotic magic in the roots Americana the brothers play with mandolinist Mike Emmons and dobro and banjo player Zack Miller. Even though their music is steeped in tradition, it doesn’t sound like a history lesson or cheap nostalgia. It’s a pure music imbued with the unsaid understanding of shared DNA. From heartbreak to hell yeah, the Green Boys can take you to the heart of any emotion. They play Friday, Oct. 25, at Ashland Coffee and Tea. Doors open at 8 p.m. Admission is $10. ashlandcoffeeandtea.com.
