Enter a world of pirates and princesses at Virginia Repertory Theatre’s annual Fairy Tale Ball, a family-friendly evening of enchantment. The night includes dinner, children’s activities and dancing, as well as live music from the Jangling Reinharts, a performance highlighting the season’s Children’s Theatre of Virginia productions, a silent auction and more. Proceeds help the Children’s Theatre and support outreach efforts including Hugs and Kisses, a child sexual abuse prevention program. The Fairy Tale Ball takes place at the November Theatre on Saturday, March 23, at 5:30 p.m. $30-$85. va-rep.org.
