The Duhks at Capital Ale House

With the departure of lead vocalist Jessica Havey and percussionist Scott Senior since the release of its 2006 record “Migration,” the Duhks' bluesy roots seem to be intact behind the smoldering vocal delivery of Sarah Dugas on the band's latest album, “Fast Paced World.” The title track alone is a rock anthem mated with a marching song: Its banner would be the electric guitar crossed with the banjo. Bridging the gap between Celtic and country, folk and funk, the Duhks come to the Capital Ale House downtown on Saturday, April 18, at 10 p.m. $12-$15. 780-2537. — Mike Hilleary
