Sports Backers and Venture Richmond link up for another year of the Dominion Riverrock Festival, one of the biggest sports events of the summer. The annual conclave celebrates all kinds of riverfront competitions such as the mud run, freestyle cross-country biking, the James River scramble trail run, kayaking and air-dog distance jumping. The three-day festival kicks off Friday, May 18, and runs all weekend, with live musical performances from Galactic, the Travelin’ McCourys featuring Keller Williams, and JJ Grey and Mofro. Free.
