Richmond is about to get even brighter, continuing the theme of 1708 Gallery’s InLight public exhibition in Monroe Park. Half a million twinkling bulbs get turned on at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden for the Dominion GardenFest of Lights on Friday, Nov. 28. The 30th illumination, starting at 5 p.m., is called a Legacy in Lights: 120 Years from Bicycle Club to Botanical Garden. It features displays celebrating the spot’s history as a club for the newly popular vehicles in 1895. Expect an abundance of family-friendly activities, seasonal exhibits and shopping opportunities at the beloved holiday extravaganza to get you into the spirit of the season. Call 262-9887 or visit lewisginter.org. Runs through Jan. 12.
