The Delicious at the Camel

Beards are pretty popular with indie bands these days. Just take a look at Sam Beam of Iron and Wine or Fleet Foxes' Robin Pecknold. They've got the kind of facial fuzz Grizzly Adams would be more than happy to endorse. Looking to bring the same kind of attention to the mustache realm is David Woodruff of the Indiana-based outfit the Delicious. Sporting the look of a Civil War general or Salvador Dali, Woodruff and his bandmates keep things simple, delivering their quick-paced art pop with some accessible quirk. Supporting its recent EP, “Postcard To My Sewing Circle,” the Delicious plays the Camel on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 8 p.m. $5-$10. 353-4901. — Mike Hilleary
