In the short time it’s been playing music, Denver quartet the Congress has been entertaining crowds around the globe with a unique blend of roots rock and Southern R&B. The group’s debut self-titled EP gained critical acclaim after its March 2010 release, allowing the Congress to play festivals such as Wakarusa, Jazz Aspen Snowmass and Groovefest. The Congress released its new EP, “The Loft Tapes,” in April and has focused on perfecting the live show, something that’s attracting fans left and right.
