At the start, your T-shirt is white and pristine. After two kilometers, you’re yellow and green. And by the end, well, you look like a Jackson Pollock painting. The Color Run is an untimed, 3-mile fun run that splatters its participants with nontoxic paint. Traveling through 50 American cities this year, the Color Run welcomes participants of all ages and athletic levels. The Richmond stop benefits Church Hill Activities and Tutoring. The Color Run paints its runners at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, at Richmond International Raceway. $50-$55. thecolorrun.com.
